The PPTCT Program gears at prevention of transmission of HIV from mother to child. This is an initiative of NACO. Vishwas runs this program supported through ILFS in six districts of Madhyapradesh such as Indore, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Gwalior and Burhanpur, 6 District of Rajasthan such as Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ajamer, Udhaypur, Bhilwada and Barmer
Objectives of PPTCT programme:-

- To ensure registration of all HIV infected ANC Mothers in the PPTCT project.

- To motivate all pregnant women for HIV testing.

- To provide regular follow-up of HIV infected ANC mother for nine months.

- To motivate all infected pregnant mothers for institutional delivery.

- To provide neverapine tablet to the infected mother 2hours before the delivery. And neverapine drops to the new born at birth or within 72 hours

- To conduct DBS test at 6 week, PCR test at 6 month, Rapid Test at 12 month and ELISA test at the completion of 18 months.To monitor proper growth and Development of the Children and educate the mother regarding proper feeding techniques.
